How does a VPN work?

VPN is the acronym of ‘Virtual Private Network’. It’s a secured crypted connection between your computer and a remote server which will pass on your traffic. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_private_network)

With a MyBritVPN subscription, you will use your internet connection as usual; however, it will be secured and anonymous. Once connected, your real IP address will change and you will be seen as based in England.

How do I check if I’m correctly connected?

In order to check if you are correctly connected, go to https://mybritvpn.com/ip and check your virtual location.

How do I change my MyBritVPN plan?

Is it difficult to configure and use MyBritVPN?

From which country can I use MyBritVPN?

MyBritVPN works from anywhere in the world as long as you have an ADSL or a cable connection.

Is there any usage limit for using MyBritVPN?

There is no limit at all. You can use the service 24/7 if you wish without any traffic restriction.

Is it legal to use a VPN?

Yes, it is legal to use a VPN. A lot of companies use the same technology to allow their roaming staff to access the company network.

How is my anonymity kept?

When you connect to our service, a crypted ‘tunnel’ is created between your computer and our UK servers which will pass on your traffic.

What’s the difference between a VPN and a PROXY?

Both technologies change your IP address. A VPN will encrypt all the internet traffic as well as the applications to transmit to the secured connection. A proxy is usually based on the web browser and a lot of websites still remain unaccessible. A VPN is also much faster than a PROXY.

How many devices can I use with my account?

Your access is restricted to six simultaneous connection per IP.

What type of computer, tablet or smatphone can I use with MyBritVPN?

Our service works with Windows (XP to 10), MAC OS X, Android, Linux, iOS and Chromebook.

Can I use Peer to Peer app and Torrent while I am connected to MyBritVPN?

It’s prohibited to use any P2P services and Torrent while using MyBritVPN. Ports usually used by these applications are blocked on our servers. If however you try to get around our security, your account will be suspended with no refund. (See also our terms and conditions.)

How do I cancel my subscription?

1- Connect to your PayPal account.

2- Click on ‘My account’ at the top right of the page.

3- Click on ‘My pre-approved payments’.

4- Click on the ‘Clipse Network LTD’ payment and cancel your subscription.

The cancelation of your subscription is instant and we have no obligation to issue a refund for the time left on the subscription.
